I was pleased that the Mayor of Winchester was able to attend and offically open the event. The jazz band was going strong in the garden, while the hall saw displays of Tae Kwon Do, Latin American dancing, "Legs, Bums &amp; Tums" exercise and much more. It was the official opening of the Oliver's Battery Conservation Area, followed by a guided walk to Butterfly Conservation's nature reserve on top of Yew Hill.
